JOBURG – Reports of a water outage in parts of Rosebank, Killarney and Parktown since 11am were received from local readers.According to Johannesburg Water’s official Twitter account, the disruption to the water supply was caused by a burst water pipe.

@jhbwater tweeted that a team of workers had been sent to repair the pipe, but could not say when the water supply might be restored.

Johannesburg Water spokesperson Millicent Kabwe was unavailable for comment at the time of publication.

Unfortunately it doesn’t just stop here. In the NW some areas in Rustenburg and Brits have been without water for two weeks! What do you do without water for two weeks? You can’t bath, you can’t flush the toilet, you can’t prepare food…..

Rainwater harvesting is definitely the answer to these water shortages facing our country. Water Rhapsody has many water saving systems that can help you save money and water and always provide you with emergency water in your water storage tanks.
