The most important wellness tip is to drink more water; drink between one to three litres daily.

Water has no fat, caffeine, cholesterol and is low in sodium. Water is vitally important for food digestion, nutrient metabolism, blood circulation, cellular functions, general health, disease prevention, weight management, detoxification, joint lubrication, lymphatic system functioning and elimination of waste products. Virtually every function of the body, from cell division and digestion to tissue synthesis requires water.

Always drink a glass before preparing a meal, Order water at a restaurant before anything else. Drink at least one glass before a caffeinated drink. Buy a bottle with replaceable carbon filters and fill it up regularly instead of buying bottled water in plastic bottles. If you buy sparkling water, choose water that has oxygen added to it rather than carbon dioxide.

A squeeze of lemon juice in a glass of water, on an empty stomach, first thing in the morning alkalizes your water and is highly beneficial.

Look after our water. Recycle and re-use grey water. The water we have in circulation is all we will ever have. There are no new sources of water; it does not rain down from outer space, nor can it spring anew from any natural process on earth.
