Rhino poachers arrested near Brits.

Five suspected rhino poachers appeared in the Brit’s Magistrate’s Court in North West last Wednesday. “They were arrested last Tuesday, as part of on-going investigations” said provincial police spokesman, Brigadier Thulani Ngubane.  He said police are on a drive to curb this great concern facing the country. Apparently a syndicate had been operating near Assen in the North West. The South African National Parks said 30 arrests were made to date for this year. “It is worrying that we are still losing such a high number of rhinos throughout the country” said CEO of South African National parks David Mabunda.

I woud likte to see them outside in the heat without water for five days ….. see if they’ll survive.

Rainwater Harvesting

* Rainwater harvesting is the collection, storage and distribution of rainwater and the perfect storage facility for rainwater is a water tank. * Rainwater can essentially be used anywhere you use tap water. * The idea of using drinking water to flush toilets and water lawns is wasteful and irresponsible, especially in light of the population growth and water shortages across the country.
