“Ugly” Water Tanks?

Some say water tanks are ugly. I suppose you could say that, BUT is it not a typical example of 'greed vs need';  'The look vs The need'? Admittedly it is not the most aesthetically pleasing sight, but there is always a way around that. You can plant flowering creepers up against a bamboo screen. You can build a wooden structure around it. It unfortunately isn't 'instant' and it doesn't come in a box. With time you wouldn't even see that "ugly" tank anymore. Jojo tanks has a beautiful Slimline tank which is very modern looking.  Remember : We can still live with an "ugly" tank, but we cannot live without water.  The sooner we realise that and start saving water the better.

Rainwater Harvesting

* Rainwater harvesting is the collection, storage and distribution of rainwater and the perfect storage facility for rainwater is a water tank. * Rainwater can essentially be used anywhere you use tap water. * The idea of using drinking water to flush toilets and water lawns is wasteful and irresponsible, especially in light of the population growth and water shortages across the country.
